I decided to use an Eddystone die cast box for the v6.1 and sufficiently large to take a Linear PA or 80m LPF or even another Softrock (mounting holes already drilled).

Audio connections and PTT are via gold plated phono sockets.

Contacts have been made on 40 meters using BPSK31 to Belgium Germany and France, good signal reports have been received, strength and quality, using 500mW to my Doublet antenna.
